Disney’s Brave

Hi again! This time I am reviewing Disney Pixar’s new movie, Brave. Brave is a movie about a Scottish princess named Merida. She wants freedom and doesn’t want to listen to her mom, who is trying to teach her how to be a proper princess and arrange a marriage for her. She goes to a witch in the forest and asks for a spell to change her mom so that she can have a different fate. But the spell doesn’t turn out as planned and her mom turns into a bear. So then she is trying to turn her mom back before the spell is permanent.

Now, this movie is a great film, but can be scary for the little ones. It also has the recurring belief of magic and some humor I think Disney should have left out. Over all, I think this is a good movie, but don’t forget that it has the recurring magic and stuff.

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace is a movie behind the hit song also called,  Amazing Grace. It takes place in 1700’s where William Wilberforce is trying to stop slavery. He runs into some people and some problems, but he keeps on trying to stop slavery. It is a very touching movie and an even more touching song. Of the song, my favorite part is this-

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God, Who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine

It says that this world and everything in it will perish and the sun will no longer shine, but God will be reigning forevermore. He will be your light in heaven. I hope you have made the decision to follow Jesus and make him the center of your life. I have. And if you haven’t, I encourage you to very, very much.

Mandie and The Secret Tunnel

Mandie and the Secret Tunnel Poster

Mandie And The Secret Tunnel is a movie about a girl living in the 1900’s. It goes along with the book series.  Her father has died and her mother plans on sending her away while keeping her older sister Irene. Some parts can be sad and I find some other parts to be hilarious. I really love watching this movie! This is the first out of 3 so far and I am hoping for more! I highly recommend this movie for everyone!

Movie- Soul Surfer

The movie Soul Surfer is the true story of a teenage girl named Bethany Hamilton who’s arm was bitten off in a shark attack. She then had to get used to doing stuff with one arm. It is a struggle, but Bethany try’s learning to surf again. One of my favorite quotes from the movie was by Bethany herself,

“I don’t need easy. I just need possible.”

I find that inspiring for lots of people. Soul Surfer is a family-friendly movie. I recommend this movie.
